Swedish House Mafia 2011 - Tickets and Party Dates

Swedish House Mafia theme

Anyone know what the Swedes will be having as their theme this year???
Will it be under the Masquerade Motel banner, or a new/different concept?

How true im not sure... but i heard they will be draped in large red leicester costumes as large blocks of cheese, they will then step into the dj booth which will be designed as a humungous cheese grater where our babybel friends will grate themselves into small peices of cheese, at the end of the set the cheese will then be sprinkled over the edam ladened cheese worshipers to chants of "1 more 1 more 1 more"....

Almost certain to be a new concept. They are adding the finishing touches to the final version of the Video Promo as we speak.

Three men in a boat do Ibiza I think:)

that one must be fake... it's way tooo ****ty. there trailers are always great. or maybe pacha told them to produce this **** in order to cool down there ticketshop

Thta's what i thought, but iv'e been mulling it over for the last few minutes and now I'm not so sure. It seems like a possible early teaser and 'Delinquent dollhouse' sounds like the sort of thing they would come up with.

Pacha is the most expensive club to hold any night in.... thats why there is a premium on any ticket sold there.

It doesnt help that its got the smallest capacity either.

In fact words cannot express just how unbelievably bad those guys are. There is a very amusing thread on terry farley's fb page in response to ingrosso's weird "fck this nightclub in the pussy" comment

basically pretty much everyone thinks these swedes are total tools

    • Alan Craig Stadium "house" is a seperate entity from anything anyone on here would appreciate. The amount of (young) clubbers who excitedly tell me they are going to see Ingrosso/Guetta etc is phenomonal. Sadly,as a house fan they expect me to get excited along with them & are disappointed when I vomit at there feet in disgust. • Alan Craig Aye Luke but it does make me feel old...3 hours ago
    • Luke Styles What makes me feel even older is that the more discerning ravers (Am I showing my age using that word) who wouldn't be seen dead listening to Guetta seem to only be interested in minimal tech and all the bpms have to be so freakin high. It's got to a point where anything that's slower than 125bpms and has a vocal or instrument on it is relegated to the chillout lounge. When you can't jump start the party with most classic house and underground disco you know something is rotten :-)

    • Alan Craig You are absolutely right. I find it hard to find a night I really enjoy. In the last year I would say Kerri Chandler,Francois K & Danny Krivit have stood out. Last year in Ibiza I enjoyed Space,Zoo Project DC10 etc but a bit like Pressure i...See more

    • Alan Craig Mind you,it was 430am& I had been out the previous 2 nights. The girls who we were there with (who are younger & with more varied taste in music) had te night of their lives. Despite me running on empty,if the night had been amazing I would still have appreciated it. Musically it just didn't seem to do too much.3 hours ago
    • Luke Styles Kerri Chandler, Francois K, Danny Krivit, Joe Clausell and Karizma are probably my favourite house DJs still doing the biz but most of them come from the old skool and they is way underground innit. My favourite nights out nowadays tends to be to eclectic DJs. Ones who wont just play 4x4 all night but will bust in some breaks, cook up some jazz and throw down some hip hop as well as house and keep me guessing.3 hours ago

    • Alan Craig The fact that in every photo shoot I have seen they look like something from a badly made reality TV show for MTV is off putting to begin with. The comments attributed to them in the articles even more so.Am I being naive,or isn't it time say,Mixmag but the boot into these types?? Or do Mixmag still believe they stand for dance music??2 hours ago

    • Alan Craig Best parody of these pish poor video's was Frankie Wilde/Paul Kaye on "It's All Gone Pete Tong." It looked extremely like a German trance video.2 hours ago
    • Luke Styles The thing is they have tapped into what this generation want. We wanted to go mental and not give a **** to good music. Nowadays most "ravers" just want to feel connected to celebrity. They just want to be seen looking sexy in the cluuurb MTV style. It's all about "look at me" ego bull**** instead of shelf wobbling beats in dutty sweaty warehouses full of the working class masses. It's all about celebrity :-(about an hour ago
    • Alan Craig Yes,the MTV bass generation. The underground still exists though Luke..about an hour ago
    • Luke Styles Try looking sexy monged up on disco biscuits in a gaff where sweat is dripping off the ceiling. lol Of course the underground still exists but it's skinnier than it used to be because the commercial heads have appropriated our musical genres. In the past a house or hip hop night was underground by default, not anymore. I would estimate most clubs are playing the commercial watered down versions.about an hour ago

how do you mean by expensive?

it's only expensive cos the DJs cost more and they base the ticket price on the demand of the artist! that's why guetta and swedes are 68-70 and other days start from 38€.
