Surf anyone??

Hey, anyone know of any good surf spots around the island or where I might find surf reports? Oh yeah, what about surf board rentals... Any info would be helpful.

surfing never really caught on in ibiza. something to do with the lack of surf in the mediterranean! you'll find windsurfing, kite surfing, water skiing, wake boarding etc here though and plenty of places to hire the equipment.

I was watching the surfers from my hotel room overlooking Cala Nova beach in the first week of May on 8 to 10 feet high waves and have seen them several times in July and September/October. Of course it is very often a flat calm but it is the only place I have regularly seen surfers - even in full wet suits, the whimps - I understand it may be to do with the currents and prevailing winds on the North East of the island.
