After a sell out bank holiday show in May, the legendary Roger Sanchez jets back to Gatecrasher Birmingham for the Festival of Ibiza. Touching down in Birmingham fresh from tearing it up in superclubs all over Italy, Spain and party capital Ibiza, this night promises to be as a memorable a night as the last.
Already a global superstar Roger Sanchez, also known as Roger S. or The S Man is worshipped by the masses for his classic party anthems like number one hit single ‘Another Chance' and his Grammy award winning remix of No Doubts ‘Hella Good'. 2010 has proved to be a hectic and exciting year for The S Man with countless appearances in Europe's party hotspots and the release of his latest album ‘Release Yourself'. Sanchez has also played for a second season at Ibiza's Amnesia where he holds down a residency in The Terrace (alongside Armin Van Buuren's Armada in the main room), keeping the island's house music heritage strong and creating thousands of memories for the droves of faithful clubbers and newcomers alike who come to witness one of the genre's most talented and enduring DJs.
As one of the crucial producers that made Strictly Rhythm the premiere American house label during the early '90s, Roger Sanchez grew into a prolific remixer, world-class mainstream DJ, and top global-house name by the end of the decade. Though he concentrated more on mix albums than proper studio productions under his own name, Sanchez gained much respect with club kids as well as the dancefloor intelligentsia.
