Sunset Strip Bars and Loungers

OK, here is a completely random question that has been bugging me so i just have to ask.... What is the deal with the sun loungers and the swimming pools at the sunset strip bars? Are they just there for anyone who orders a drink at the bar? Is there a charge to use them (other than the cost of a drink)? Having a bar with a swimming pool on the premises is not a business model that I am familiar with. :lol: Thanks!

at the sunset bars that have pools, all you have to do is buy a drink to be able to use the loungers and pool. altho, you could quite easily use the pool and not have to pay anything (you just would have to buy a drink if after your swim you used a sun lounger).

I have been at Kanya before many times and used both pool and sun loungers and not had to buy a drink.
 
As per Grego, all those places are happy for you to use their beds and pools if you buy a drink.
