Sunset Bars

Only Mint is open in the "Mambo strip" at the moment if I remember right. However, Golden Buddha (carry on past Mint along the Promenade past the big wasteland to the next bay) is open too and is a very nice alternative.

In the Bay, Kumharas is opening this Saturday - should be a nice time to go check it out if you haven't been before http://www.spotlight-forums.com/showthread.php?t=74468 ...

and PS - Eva Pacifico will be spinning some tunes ...

On the same strip I think, Cafe del Mar opened April 4th, the real Don....Alfredo,has already played.

My favourite and the only bar on the strip we go back too each year.. Alfredo is doing something at Pikes this season too that should be of interest to some on this forum.8)
 
oooh oooooh question.... we fly out tomorrow... and of course, as its my brothers first visit i want to take him to either cafe del mar or golden... but whats the ambience like there on a say... friday evening this time of year???

obviously its not going to be packed... but is there stuff going on? music etc?
