The flight hubby wants to get to Ibiza doesnt get in till about 2,30am, so we,ve changed the accommodation now, to self catering for the first 2 days, but as we arrive on the morning of our anniversary, where would it be possible to get a good view of the sunrise in San An, as the plan is, dump cases in room, grab a sandwich, hit the beach to see the sunrise, and then go to bed, any help is appreciated,
Or will the sunrise happen in Ibiza as we,re in taxi heading to San An,
thanks x

Hi Heather - I'm guessing about 45 mins to an hour to clear the airport depending on what other flights come in at similar times to yours, then it's about 25 mins in the taxi to San An. So you should be getting into San An for just before 04:00. I'm betting you'll be on the beach with a beer and a snack in time for sunrise 8)

depends what month your going.the other week it was 6.05 am in playa den bossa.where the sun rises. then a few mins a day later.i should know as i was up getting beds for day.mine you i get up early anywway.waste of time staying in bed.you can do that at home i say.

Thanks to everyone for advise, so it looks like we,ll have plenty of time,to get back from airport, put cases in room, get some unbreakable glasses to drink our champagne on the beach with a sandwich,
Champagne, Sandwich, and sunrise, does it get any better than that,

The sun rise from San Antonio wont be anything special. It has to get above some hills before you see it.
It looks much better from Playa den Bossa where you will see it rise from the sea.

I am with you with the sunrise and Champagne but the sandwich would have to get replaced x
