I'm assuming there are sunbeds on most of the beaches in Ibiza (Talamanca is the nearest beach to us) im just wondering how much do they charge for the sunbeds? It seems most beaches thesedays charge you for the privlege of lying on their sunbeds, well that's the case anyway in Greece and Turkey.

PS-Hope the Germans don't have them all taken

Around €2 a bed in most beaches. Get up at 6 to beat them Germans.. Do it for Britain!8)

Its now 4 euros most places!!! I was at cala de moro at the start of june. Just me and the mrs, no one else in sight and all sun beds stacked up.

I thought, f*ck it, i'll grab two to sit on for a bit.

Within 30 seconds some bloke popped out from nowhere! "8 euros please" he said.

€4 fu*k that sh*t that's a bit much for a bloody sunbed:?

If you stay on a beach all day then getting a sunbed is worth it. Bora Bora is 6€ Es Cavallet was 10€ 8O But I think most are going 5€

Ours were 4.50 - seeing as we had already used them for an hour before hand, we thought we'd better pay up.

Much nice than lying on the sand and also better for cleaning sand off your feet.

I thought there were regulations on the maximum they can charge for a sunbed? wasnt it in the ibiza sun a little while back saying the maximum was 4.5euros???:?:

4.5euros ... for 1 hour maybe

right.... any new info on this subject?

I like to hire a sunbed when I am on holiday, or spending a full day at the beach. I was hoping to avoid some embarrassment and find out prices of sunbeds (more or less) before we go... recently I nipped into puro beach here in Marbella, and while having lunch asked how much their beds are... they are 40 EURO EACH!

Now I don't mind spending up to about 15 euro for a bed... but I would like to know in advance what my options are, so as to save time and money.

Places like...
Bora Bora
Ushuaia
Sands
No Name
La plage
Delano (my friend said they were free when she went in July, but not sure about August/Sept)
Jokey Club
Blue Marlin

and more....

All the other beaches, like cala comte and so on are normally about the same price.

What I want to find out is about a really nice place the girls and I can chill for the day, good music, good food, good drink, good views... prices of sunbeds (not puro beach prices).

Hope someone can help... :)

There are,,,,,, On Public beaches, (They have to bid for the concesions every year) As soon as you set foot on "private" property, They can charge what you will pay :D

Time

there is a maximum charge set by the council for sunbeds and sunshades - however, this is for normal bog standard loungers. as soon as a white cover or fluffy pillow is placed upon said lounger then the sky's the limit........................

the official prices and numbers of sunloungers allowed on a beach are displayed on plaques on wooden posts on the beach
