Sun bed and parasol hire

Can you guys tell me what is the average price of 2 sunbeds and a parasol?

I guess most beaches have them (bar a few)
and also
do you have to get down to the beach early-ish in the day to nab one?

i think the standard price is 7-8€ an item. so if you have two sunbeds and a parasol you'll get to 21-24€ for a day.
 
Back last week. 7 euro an item on west of island, 5 euro and item in the north, 4 euro and item on the east.

This is about right. Some of the beaches in the West are also 4-5 euros (Cala Gracio, for example) and I've paid more than 4 in the East.

Each beach has a different vendor (larger beaches - multiple vendors) and prices depend on the popularity of the beach, quality of the beds and other various factors. Time of season also matters - some beaches raise prices during high season (eg. July-August)

I think the least I have paid is 4 euros and the most is 8. Most times the price is standard per item (i.e. per sunbed and/or umbrella).
 
We usual buy an umbrella in one of the shops, and use our beach towels, but if youre not taking your own towels,you can buy cheap ones there,
last year the beach umbrella cost us 12 euros,and we used it for the whole 2 weeks, and then left it in the hotel for other people to use,we definately had our moneys worth from it
so if you go for 7 days, and buy 2 beach towels and a beach umbrella, it wouldnt cost more than 30 euros,,which is cheaper than 2 days hire of sun beds and parasol, and you could either take them home again ,or leave them for other guests,
 
don;t use towels make you body too hot.buy one of the many throws some come in great patterns.nice and thin to cover you if burnt as well.
 
any of the la sirena shops sell a good range.cheap as well,look out for a shops with red signs.figueretas as one on main road to playa den bossa. just up from the tourist info box.and there are two in pdb.

Last week in the north east, 4 euros for a bed and four euros for a sombrillo. I always buy an umbrella for around 8 euros and if you are a regular on the beach you can some days get a bed gratis.
