as always, there's a travelling San Juan Fiesta, which has made a stop in a different place every year since 1971 and this year its in Buscastell, the area around the famous bar Can Tixeido.

Patron Saint's Day
Last year the traditional bonfires, which are lit to celebrate the eve of San Juan and the summer solstice, were cancelled as a mark of respect for the many residents of the borough who had been affected by the devastating forest fire the previous month. However, this year the custom will be resumed, it was announced last week.
There is an exhibition of the works of photographer Holgar Dunckel which is running at the moment in the Cultural Centre and during the week various workshops and sports meetings have been arranged. There will be a variety of sports competitions on Saturday the 23rd of June and in the evening a ‘Flower Power' fiesta will be held, at which all are welcome.

yummy macarrons de sant joan for free, hierbas con hielo for only 2 euros and lots of fire..... how can you not love it?!
