Suggestions for - what to do for 4 hours from landing to picking up the car

Firstly not sure whether this should be posted in Clubbing Open Chat or Things to Do In Ibiza (but try and bear with me!!)

OK. I'll be landing in Ibiza at approx 4.15am on 10/Jul/2011. This will be my first visit since Sept 2009 due to a pesky redundancy thing in Jan 2010 - as a result of this, I'm not 100% sure of the openings ups / closing downs / changeover of businesses in season 2010 and so far this year.

My hire car is booked for an airport pickup at 8.30am on 10th July and is to be returned by 08.30am on my day of departure - v.good hire car rate through the brokers Auto-Europe BUT if i wanted to pick it up any earlier than 08.30 (i.e straight away when I land) I'd get charged an extra £80+ for out of hours pick up and extra days rental.

So my question is this: WHAT TO DO FOR THE (APPROX) 4 HOURS BETWEEN LANDING AND PICKING THE CAR UP (that doesn't revolve around sitting in the airport) ?

I think the following things I CAN'T DO need to be bourne in mind:

1) Drinking more than the legal limit or sampling substances legal (or otherwise) that might result in hammeredness is not an option - hire companies and the local police are not usually overly enamoured if someone turns up to pick a car up when they are muntered (and its dangerous)

2) Going to a club / attraction where I have to pay a great deal seems a waste of funds for what will be only a few hours and I will be doing this in spades later in the week

3) Checking into accomodation and then coming back for the motor is a no-no as I can't check in until 10am anyway

4) Kipping in the airport for a few hours is unlikely as I will be excited.

So what to do ???? Suggestions would be greatfully recieved !!

If you've stuff to pick up from the carousel chances are it could be pushing 5 by the time you're clear. Grab a cab, head to the beach at Es Cavallet or Salinas to see in the sunrise with your legal limit to hand.

The sun may set in the West, but it rises in the East ... if you're lucky you may end up staying for breakfast at El Chiringuito and picking the car up later !

After turning up to find nothing doing last year (and recommending someone else on here to do the same ) it seems El Chiringuito is open for breakfast again :)

"Beautiful beach restaurant El Chiringuito on Es Cavallet is now serving up the island's best breakfast every morning to help you regain your strength after a legendary Ibiza night out! From eggs just how you like them, to the incredible home made pancakes, to eggs Benedict, and of course, the frothiest fresh fruit smoothies in town, El Chiringuito Ibiza is the perfect spot to start your morning off right – breakfasting in front of the Mediterranean Sea."
