Totally agree.

My humble opinions:

Subliminal 1 is a must own in every house music fan's collection. So many amazing tunes i.e. Night at the Black, Keep on Touchin Me, Keep Control, Tracy in My Room, Bel Amour among others... The definition of driving funky house.

Contrast this with some of the content on Subliminal 5, Winter Sessions and Subliminal 6 which is much closer to (is) tech house and (a reminder - my humble opinion) is much less inspiring.

I am definitely not into Benny B's sound as much as Morillo/Nunez/Romero/Moore...

im really liking Benni Benassi's sound really electro and driving, quite moody at times as well.

Have to say though his mixing is pretty bad on this album.
Mo imagination imo. But i suppose he is more of aa producer than a dj.

Stand out tracks for me are

Nasty Bass - Bertolini, Andrea
I Want You To Come - Bat 67
Clear Message - Shark & Kemu
Radio (Fain mix) - Who Da Funk
Sing - Praise Cats

Actually i really liked this album, especailly the buildup in CD1.
I even liked it more than Morillo's Subliminal Sessions 5, can u believe it?

All in all surprising yet good work by the Benassi :D

So true, 1 is a classic, I like 2 cos I'm a big fan of Mr Romero, 3 is ok and with the exception of the Subliminal - The Story So Far (best Subliminal album ever imo) the rest of them I've bought and now they're languishing in a corner on my CD rack never to be listened to again.
