stupid question..reccomended shoes at space- dc10

my friend and i will attend space- dc 10 opening parties

it will be her first time in ibiza and she asked me if it is not advisable to wear open shoes (sandals, flip flops) because of the "danger" of the crowd stepping on your feet or of stepping on broken glasses

i don't know what to say to her because i always wear sneakers when i go dancing and I never noticed which shoes other girls usally wear

can anyone give me a clue? are open shoes ok or sneakers are more appropriate?
 
I always wear flip-flops or similar @ Space and have been fine. I can't think of anything worse than dancing in ladieeee heels for 18 hours 8O

:lol: I'm the last person you should be asking when it comes to boys trainers, Tom is just Rift boy so my knowledge of boys trainers is a big fat zero :lol:

pink doesn;t do anything for my eyes

clashes with the bloodshot look i'm already sporting
 
I wore flip-flops to DC10 last time and must admit it was a bit dangerous.. I ended up getting a stiletto in the achilles tendon which wasn't much fun! And there is loads of broken glass around as well.. Actually I think one of my mates ended up cutting her foot in DC10 on some glass..
 
I always wear open toe shoes/sandels, both heeled or flats. Yes you do get trodden on, Amnesia is awful for broken glass on the dance floor.

But style comes before sense. Plus I am always to numb to feel any pain. :)

Scott the quality of them is rubbish, I made myself a pink pair a few years back and even tho I have only worn them about twice they are already fraying :roll: I think if I wore trainers regularly they would have fallen apart after a few weeks and definitely wouldn't be able to sustain a Space sesh :twisted:

looks like it might be the same old ones again this year

damn you Nike for discarding them from production!!!
