Street parade - what to expect?

Good afternoon everybody,

this year I will participate for the first time in the Street Parade in Zurich. Anyone been? What shall I expect? Any suggestions?

I haven't been to streetparade in over twenty years guys....

but...it's usually really nice during the day and there's then lots and lots of parties at night and all sunday too.

for me, streetparade weekend in zurich is 'good old times' - pure nostalgia.

It's amazing.

Very busy, can be difficult to get around and find people.

Suggest staying at a hotel close to the parade to go back to freshen up, have a small rest, etc.

Keep an eye on your possessions.

Wear anything you like.

Zurich was always a highlight in the past, strolling around during the day in the city, or just sitting comfortably by the lake and people watching... awesome! And in the evenings there's plenty to do, I can still remember the after-hours at OXA... OmG. The weather forecast looks very good too, so let's go ;-)
