So last year I visited Ibiza for the first time towards the end of August. Had a great time and planning to book up this year.
However there is 1 thing kinda putting me off. Last year when on the bus back from Ushuaia to San Antonio there was a guy standing next to my seat leaning on the seat in front of me with his iphone facing with camera towards me. At first I didn't think anything of it until I noticed he was purposely angling it towards my face. I thought he was taking a picture or maybe recording but then I was maybe just being paranoid and didnt want to make a scene. However, he then put his phone back in his pocket and brought out a different phone and turned to face me pretending to text while talking to the girl behind me and any time he turned back I noticed him pointing the phone towards me then checking the phone. It was the appearance of a separate phone that raised my suspicions so I just put my sunglasses back on and put my head in my hands pretending I was too drunk or something - I really didn't want to cause a scene after such a good night
Does anyone know any reason why someone would randomly record/take pictures of someone? When I got off the bus he was walking pretty close to me but as I caught up to my friends he kinda just wandered off. Was I just being paranoid or are there people there who use pictures of people to use them as targets for anything?
