Still searching for info on El Puerto apartments

I stayed there three years ago, I thought it was really good. Nicer than our place at Jet (no stale ocean water smell in the shower) and a lot more quiet, for sure. Courteous staff, and I think they serve free breakfast? Decent sized bedrooms. We walked to El Divino from there.

Welcome Sheeva, sorry I couldn't give ya more detail... don't remember too much hehehe  Maybe my experience was especially good because one of the guys at the front desk had a huge crush on me lol. It was so cute, every time I was around he would get all quiet and blush with a big smile lol. I forget his name. I remember most of the peeps there being pretty nice.

We've stayed there for the past 3 years, and are booked again this year.

The location is great, it's a short walk to Pacha/El Divino. The rooms are big and clean. It's generally quiet, but we have partied hard in our room and never had a complaint. It has a pool, but the terrace area doesn't have much character.

Make sure you book an apartment - they are much better, and sometimes cheaper than the hotel rooms. ;)

That's what I booked! Thanks for the good review, I was a bit nervous. 8 more days...

eh nothing to be nervous about dear, we wouldn't steer you in the wrong direction. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself, let us know how it goes! :D

I'm sure you wouldn't! I was nervous until I saw all the positive feed back. The past 3 summers I've stayed in Talamanca at either the Ocean Drive or the El Corso.

I've always wanted to try Ocean Drive! Never have though, El Puerto's location is so great. I'm sure you'll have a great time! ;)

This will be my third consecutive year in an apartment at El Puerto. It's so convenient, the apartments are cleaned every day, there's a pool, a small kitchen and a balcony and - most important - air conditioning that works. You are right in the middle of things but it still manages to be pretty quiet (if that's what you need). I'd have no qualms recommending it.

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear! Thanks again.
