Steve Porter = SICKNESS!!!

Every SINGLE THING I have been hearing from this guy for months now is just consistently, FANfrickinTASTIC!! Cannot WAIT to hear the Homegrown album. Any predictions?
 
The Homegrown album is my favorite this year. QUALITY! I've been wanting to hear Steve Porter for at least 3 years but alas...nobody has brought him to Texas. :cry:

I also recommend Chris Salt - Fear of a Silver Planet 3. Excellent comp...this and Homegrown are probably my two favorite releases this year.

Silver planet have been releasing some absolute gems this year.. 'Carrier' by David West is still my favourite breaks tune of 2005..

Steve Porter is so great. Homegrown is by far one of my favorite albums of the year- so eclectic and different! My favorites are Vodka Cranberries, Electric Jelly and Rage in the Cage. So good! I've seen him twice in the past month- I'm lucky- he's from Boston and he's had a residency at one of the afterhours clubs for a few years and I've had the opportunity to see him numerous times and he's always on his game. I met him a few weeks ago at this little bar he was playing at- there were maybe 40-50 people in this tiny place. Then last week I saw him at Avalon, Boston's biggest club. He has such a great time playing and it really comes across in his sets.

If you're heading down to the WMC next year, definitely check out the Porterhouse Party- Last year it was free and such a great time!
