Just booked my flights for 3 nights in ibiza next week since a mate dropped out i decided to still go anyway because i will know people who are over there already :)

Only thing is though Hotels still want to charge me near enough the same price as it would be for 2 people!!

What do you lot who go solo usually do?

the Hotel Corso in Talamanca has a few rooms for solo travelers - they are small but pretty inexpensive... like 130 euros a day or so.

What dates are you going ? It's been increasingly difficult this year but there are some places you can often get rooms booking direct at late notice for between 40 and 60 Euros/night which are perfectly nice.

I noticed the most depressing rooms in Ibiza are the single ones. :roll:Ugh...I'm going solo and have decided to book an apartment. I need space and a/c! I'm going through the Bon Sol group which offers the Squash, Bon Sol, Bon Sol Prestige and Los Rosales Apartments all about 100 euro or more cheaper if you're going alone. You could always book a double room for single use too. As you said, it would be considerably cheaper if you find someone else. Just think....you'll have a bachelor pad. ;)

That's all you need. It's not like you'll spend much time in there anyway.

Exactly. Plus about 5 times out of 6 I get given a double/twin room even when I've booked a single. Happens in various hotels a lot - you only wind up in a single if everywhere in the vicinity is at 100% occupancy :!: .. another reason I never go out in maxi-peak season.

I only ever stayed there to get some sleep, the rest of the time i was out! and i ended up staying an extra 2 nights lol

I've deceided to stay on for a couple of nights on my own at the end of our trip rather than being miserable in Manchester. I was able to get the Orosol in San An for a bargain of £40 for 2 nights including a breakfast which looks ok. Room has got Wifi and Aircon. It is mid September though so a good bit cheaper at that time.
