Staying in San Antonio Bay

Hi there folks, first post from me :-)

Me and a mate have just booked 2 weeks in San An Bay from the 28th July.
I really wanted to be in Playa Den Bossa but just haven't been able to find anything in budget (or at all actually!) so had to make to do with San An Bay.
I always swore I'd never stay that side of the Island, both times I've been have stayed in Figeurates...I'm gay and it 's more my thing, plus close to the best clubs..bora bora etc:)

But this time San An Bay was the only option and am getting a bit worried I may hate it now. I know there's bus services and stuff but..well, you know!

I love Ibiza and hope I'm still going to have a great time.
I don't have a massive problem occasionally going out in San An, if there are some cool places..but am dreading it being full of beer boys and the time/difficulties in getting to Ibiza Town etc. Phew! :)

Any thoughs appreciated.

I can't imagine not having a good time in Ibiza no matter where you stay and what your sexual orientation!

You can easily spend your afternoons on a nearby beach, clean up then head to Bora Bora early evening, go to Ibiza Town harbor for drinks (or up to Calle de la Virgen if you want) and then hit Pacha or Space or whatever in the evening.

You'll have to plan your transport a bit, but it'll be worth it!

the bus takes about 20 minutes to Ibiza Town and leaves quite regularly from the Port.

there are boats which take you from the bay to San An Town for a couple of euros, a nice way to ride over to the town, and they leave very regularly.

you could have a drink in pussycats while you wait for a bus, its what i normally do, it doesnt really have a west end vibe about it.

have a good trip.

here's my tip. if you're staying in the bay, drop in at the kiosko - corner of granada and es calo. it's a bar that typifies ibiza, has a large regular client base, is fun, has good food, service and drinks all at reasonable prices. what more could you want?

Where exactly in the bay is that then Stephen, never saw it last year, and im going back soon, - sounds like a decent place to go, - I know the Sgt Peppers end of the bay quite well.

the kiosko and sgt peppers couldn't be further away from each other. the kiosko is opposite the hotel pinet playa sol and is absolutely nothing like sgt peppers

I was meaning, i know Sgt Peppers, and the surrounding places better than the other end of the bay, although i know exactly where the Pinet playa sol is, ... so id imagine id be able to find the kiosko .. im sure ive heard about the place before, - Friends have recomended it for afternoon meals. - i think it was that place anyway.
