Im staying in the hotel Riviera, in san antonio bay
with two mates,

Anyone ever been ... whats it like, and whats the cheapest bar, with the highest amount of single girls lol

For bars with the cheapest drinks and most single girls leave the bay and go across to san antonio's west end.

Nice, all looks very entertaining ... any idea of how far it is .... there is a bus from right outside the hotel, but is it feesable to walk from the bay to the westend

you can get bus/taxi/boat.

it'd take 30mins+ to walk it!

Ahh, 30mins aint bad .... cheaper way of doing it .... burn off the evening meal ... to make room for the Beer!!!

Best get a taxi back

Me & My misses are staying in the Riviera this year for 2 weeks in July

Sounds a nice hotel

Not sure of how long it takes to walk, Read a review a while back and someone said it’s a 15-20 Minute walk, who cares?

At least its out the way of all the hussle but not to far away from it

We stayed in Hotel Bahia in San An bay a couple of years ago and it was a really good location. It's about a 20min walk to the West End, and a 30min walk to the Sunset Strip (Coastline/Mambo's etc). Personally I wouldn't waste your money on cabs, it's a lovely walk round the harbour before you hit the mayhem of San Antonio 8O ;)

Bahia is where we are this year - the walk is lovely around the bay on the wee promenade past the windmill at Sa Punta Es Moli

It's a lovely hotel, clean, rooms are spacious & smart, great location etc... :D We'd stay there again but unfortunately it's on the "wrong" side of the island for us ;)

gosh its a bit of a walk, personally id get water taxi over there, (couple of euros) then taxi back. but thats cus id be wearing heels n my feet would kill by the time i walked there.

when u there?

Flying out June 24th, and back on July 10th

ahhhhhhh just answered my own question lol. 24th the day im flying home,

Bec I never knew you stayed in Bahia, we stayed there in 2000 and 2001 I think. It's a lovely hotel, it's just a damn shame they couldn't have built it the other side of island cos we ended up spending about half our money on taxis

Nope Ive never been to riviera before but im going this year as said above,

If you are after reviews then read the Riviera Profile/Reviews on the main page here at spotlight, all good

Also read the reviews on holidays-uncovered.co.uk and do some searches on google if you havnt all ready

I will departing for riviera with my misses on the 6th July, Coming Back the 20th, Decent flight times too

One question which I think ive asked about riviera on here before or somewhere else is

Does the Hotel Riviera have Fridges in the Hotel rooms, I guess not but would be a added bonus

Ill just have to buy a Bag of ice cubes daily and keep the drink in the bath or summit

Also another question of anyone else knows, is do you have to pay for the Air conditioning, Ive read mixed views on whether you do or not, any help appriciated
