This site is really slow today and I also keep getting the 'Website not responding thing' anyone else having problems or is my computer still drunk from NY?
 
look at my posting experience under post for "plans for 2006" - that's how bad it is at my end - I thought it was the server at my end (well Madrid) that was causing all this weirdness.....

every time I tried to carriage return it kicked me off the system....... I look like I have a very bad stutter... :-)

... some IT person :spank: in their infinite wisdom decided to reroute our server so it goes like this...

Me - Newcastle then to
Server - Madrid then to
Server - Warwick back to
Me - Newcastle

Its like a bottleneck - everyone in the UK routes this way and it causes no end of trouble - luckily we are having a massive update on our servers next month (some techy stuff that I dont understand) but I believe it will speed everything up hugely........ its great working for one of the worlds biggest IT companies, it really is.....:oops:
