It'll take a lot longer for Spring to grace Manchester, as long as there's moisture in the air - the rain will fall

Why is Manchester so glum
I go a few times per week and its always cloudy, there has been the odd time when it's been sunny and when it is sunny it's really nice

I lived in Manchester for 4 yrs. The first 4 days I was there, at 18, in mid September 1992, it was gloriously sunny. And then.......the sun never, ever shone in Manchester again.
Still loved the place though. And the time.

Just got back from a stroll around central London... it is sooo nice out there, now I'm back in this dismal office 
It makes me laugh though, the first ray of sunshine and people were out with their flipflops on, sunglasses, eating ice creams etc
Come on the English weather is not THAT reliable.. it could p1ss down this afternoon

A month ago I was in the beach having a bear with a friend, both with scarf, winter jackets and all that and next table it was a group of british tourists with their flipflops, t-shirts and shorts
It's always like that down here

That's coz you Spanish are just wimps! A bit of rain and you all put hats/scarfs/gloves on

Hey, I thought it was an amusing typo (not a slight language mistake) and was joking for all our amusement! I'm not all bad you know.
And, of course Sil's English is better than my Spanish - her English is damn near perfect! I, conversely. even had to cut and paste from the Spanish forum to post ''happy birthday' to Sil in Spanish the other day
