On 2nd December, OCD presents Belgium's hottest exports Spirit Catcher who have been on fire of late. They have been knocking out singles and remixes by the dozen with their trademark stamp of electro disco fuelled funk. The duo will be performing live on decks, keyboards and percussion.
We also welcome back one half of 2020Soundsytem, Silver City from the UK’s finest record label 2020Vision. Argentinean duo Julian and Fernando will be performing live with there distinctive use of live bass and keys, wrapped around some of the slickest contemporary beats that set them apart from the mediocrity in clubland.
Talented teenager Burnski has been gaining respect from the likes of Ralph Lawson to Booka Shade. His productions are currently providing a fitting representation of quality on offer amongst the nu-breed of English producers today. Burnski has releases out on Trapez, Morris Audio, Infant Records and Exquisite Music,
OCD resident, Dave Robinson is one part of insignificant Others and head honcho of iO Music label. Insignificant Others have just released the much sought after ‘Yoshimoto’ ‘Do What U Du’ including corking remixes by Trentmolloer and Paul Wooldford.
In Room 2 Freerange Records will be celebrating there Xmas party featuring djs and producers from this ever consistent label. First up, Kirk Degiorgio is one of the most sought-after mixer, producer and DJ in today's eclectic dance music scene. His sound can best be described as warm techno with real soul and is often based outside of the constraints of the straight 4/4 beat.
It is hard to define the sound of Tom Szirtes a.k.a. Shur-i-kan considering his many influences right from classical to jazz through to dance music and electronica The jazzy tones of the first album "Advance" was critically acclaimed and championed by the likes of Tom Middleton, Patrick Forge and Mike Chadwick and marked Shur-i-kan as a producer to watch.
