Spending money in pounds sterling?

Heading for Ibiza on the 29th july 2006 for 2 weeks, we have never been before and i was just wondering what the recommended amount of money would be to have a great time taking into consideration we would like to cover most of the biggest nights in the main clubs?

difficult question to answer as always but i'd say most of the biggest nights in the main clubs for two weeks, you need to have £1K and you could easily spend more. a lot of people don't do the main clubs or every night and find it easy to spend that much.

Best thing to do is take more than you think you need, then you cant wish you had more...its not like you have to spend it. Id say about £1k is about right.

I'd alway go on the basis if ya want to do somthing big on every night id say
£100 per person per day, This is based on if ya in a self catering place.

if you have half board say about £80 per person per day.

But as the others said you don't want to run out of money and you don't have to spend it all.

I'm going in July for 1 week so im taking £700 plus a small reserve

But a good point don't take too much cash as ya travel insurance only covers ya for about £400 unless you get the top packages so best to use travelers checks, or take ya bank card as you can use the banks in Ibiza but charges may apply on your bank as well as the Ibiza banks.

I took £1800 last year for 2 weeks. Went for a meal, and out drinking every night. Went go-karting, done watersports, bought cd's, went on the bungee rocket, bought a fair few drinks in Space , Privilege, Es Paradis, bought a lotta stuff at hippy market, brought about £100 of duty free home. and I brought £200 home as well.
