Anyone remember it? I thought I would put an old cd on, fearing the worst, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it was, far superior to the garage that spewed out with all the crews and guns and shit.
 
I went through a speed garage phase too. I dont regret it either :)

I was never the bad boy type though and that whole scene really puts me off the music.
 
I went through my speed garage bit after my jungle period, before my 27th house period...I hated garage itself, and I remember speed garage as being that bad...but it weren't
 
97/98 they were the days ,there was a few good tunes out there, totally went off garage by the time i came back from ayia napa 2000 ,thank god!
 
It probably wont surprise you all but I hated it.

I thought it really b*astardised the proper garage scene and was just a version for un-educated teenagers.

Not that any of you are that (dam0) - just the way I felt about it.

And what was all that bling bling stuff.

Tacky people trying to be classy !!
 
Speed garage is wicked, i go to a night every other week or so, it rocks,
 
I never liked the garage scene because most of it was gary boys in their nova's. I remember accidentally tuning in to a crap pirate radio station and the mc was like "yes yes, dis one is fresh yea yea from main man dibz yea check this yea"... As u can guess, the tune was absolute shod and comprised of an ill timed beat performed from a childs keyboard paired with a sub bass line that was too loud for the track and was distorted to crap... Thats the sorta stuff that puts me off!

I liked the sorta speed garage that was like 4x4 style with a nice shuffle to it. I didnt get into the scene at all, like comin says, bling bling is immensly pathetic.
