Speaker hire

Hi guys

We are staying in a villa this year for a change and we're wondering about hiring some speakers for around the pool. Obviously we don't want a massive set up, just something with decent sound that we can connect to a phone/laptop/ipod to listen to some music around the pool and before we go out....anyone have any recommendations for companies that do this??

Would you not be better off spending £100 -£120 on a decent Bluetooth speaker?

I have a denon that was more than enough for our 10 person villa.

The cost to hire an amp and speakers plus the deposit/hassle of getting to and from the hire place is surely not worth it?
 
Hmmm that actually might be a better option tbf, I was just thinking of the space in a suitcase but suppose you can get decent enough wee bluetooth speakers that wont take up much room! Thanks :)

What PP has suggested is perfect, and will fit in your case. years ago i bought a cheapish mini stereo from a supermarket in Ibiza, it did the job on holiday and I still use it back here, after changing the plug!
 
I bought my portable speaker(s) for my first trip to Ibiza from this company www.minirigs.com, amazing sound quality, battery life and designed & built in Bristol. So loud for their size and I get about 35-40 hours battery life between each charge.. it's just a shame they've grown more popular as the price has went up about 30 quid since I bought mine many years ago. Still worth the money though!
