Space this sunday 12th sept

So much for meeting up with some fellow Spotlighters. :(

Went to Bora Bora at about 2.00 pm (just to convince myself that the stories were true, the place was dead :x ). Had one drink, then off to Space.

Got into Space at 2.30 pm, I think it was Jonathan Ulysses who came on just after we got into the club (please excuse my ignorance) . I had studied some of the photos of members posted on this site, but I couldn't recognise anybody.

How the hell do you find each other, particularly as the place was so packed. Next year I'll take a banner with me.

Spent most of the day on the terrace (with my back to the caged void area, directly opposite the dj box).
 
I met about 20 Spotlighters there mate.....about 12 of us were on the podium to the right of where you must have been all day. I must have been right beside you for about 9 hours on the terrace.

Felix was on Inside from about 2pm I think, and he funking rocked it. 'Girls and Boys' by Blur....oh yeah!!
 
i was right in front of the dj booth for most of the tearrace too :twisted:
still,them scousers with us made it worthwhile :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
We were on the podium on the left if your looking out from the DJ box from about 3pm to Midnight.

Met Kerry for about 6 hours and said you were there....saw some of her pics to.

So..want to be there now. I was completely funked all day :D

What do you look like and what were you wearing?.

The only people that I can remember (I think my brains are mashed) were-
A boy and girl in cyber gear. The girl (short dark hair) was in yellow dancing around the pole of the podium.
A bloke with a light blue frilly shirt on.
A bloke with a small plastic bannana.
A load of irish boys and girls who kept stroking everybodies faces.
A irish lad with a big sombreo on.

yeah thought i would meet everyone going,i was so looking forward to it all summer and didnt meet one spotlighter,dont matter though cos lawler saved the day :D
 
i didnt meet one either @ space but where i was dancing there was a hugeeeee group of people but i wasnt sure if they were spotlighters or not,..one thing i remember was on guy had loads and loads of little cuts all up his arm,....ring any beels anyone???

also met mambobirdette last night again as she was on her way to plastic,...i believe she flys home tomorrow (saturday)
 
Me, Mr PL, Jam Man and Mrs Jam got there about 3.30pm - went onto the terrace til about 6.00pm danced our asses off at the bottom of the steps the bottom of the raised terrace - music wasn't doing it for me that much by 6ish so we headed inside where I proceed to hug the bass bins and dance my ass off until very late......... except for popping up stairs to play on the bouncy yellow seats.... all in all a blinding day.... never met anyone else from spotlight either.... :lol: :lol: best laid plans and all that..... (i did look around but didnt see anyone I recognised, although prob wouldnt have recognised my own mother that day...... I was wearing a red and white bikini top, white trousers and a red sarong if anyone saw me..... :D
 
I only saw Barbie and Tom and I did not even get a chance to speak to them as they were dancing on a raised podium quite far from me. I was overlooking the dance floor near the X Boxes and was wearing a pale blue t-shirt with 'Space Cowboy' in white on the front of it - many people found this rather amusing and kept asking me where I got it my t-shirt from :lol:

Nope that wasnt us. Met Buckley, SuperD and co when we walked into Space at the left hand bar. Then went over to that left hand podium area and danced there for about 9 hours :P

There were always about 12 folk from here at the same spot. Found it very easy to spot everyone and a few even came up to me and introduced themselves
