SPACE - over rated

Does anyone apart from yours truly think Space is a tad over-rated? :( Outdoor Terrace? my grandma got a better veranda (aussie for terrace) at her place and the roofing is better quality. :roll:

Maybe it's just me (and the fact that I have only done Ibiza once before) BUT the girlfriend is demanding that we attend Space again. Arrived at midday last time and left at 6 am (18 hrs solid!!!) but must have missed something. Yeah lotsa good looking people but the music and vibe never reaches the hedonistic heights of the likes of Manumission or Amensia (or even Bora Bora).

Keen for input, as perhaps my state of mind wasn;t right :D
 
the terrace is unrivalled really...

if you have seen a better club terrace anywhere then tell me where!

apart from that i dont rate it that highly, many feel it's the best club on the island/in the world. i don't.

but there is no other place like the terrace. fact.
 
I love the place, Mr PL isnt too hot on it - The only time I feel I dont get my money's worth so to speak is when the terrace sound is too low - I want it pumping!
 
I love it, the g/f hates it, which makes me not so happy :roll:

She did like it 'back in the day' however :lol:

ok, there aren't any open air clubs anymore, so the terrace is unique.

Mmm, general consensus then is that I'm wrong and I'll have to re-mortgage the house, buy tix, and take the missus this Sunday. could be worse..... imagine showing up for work on Monday after Space.......now that would be funny

i think you may have just got a poor day....it does happen. I've been to space a couple of times when it was only "ok".

Definately try it again though because on those good days (which far outweigh the average) it is the best place in the world. You can literally cut the atmosphere with a knife - there have been a couple of times when i seriously don't think I have ever experienced anything like it.

Sure - its different to Amnesia etc....but then again its a different kind of animal.
 
Space is the best club i've been to.

Atmosphere is unreal and the music usually the best on the island.

due to my eating routine (for my diabetes) i tend to go for the last few hours of the terrace and some inside action too

Steve Lawlers closing terrace sets are amazing!
 
Lawler B2B with Howells on terrace last week was really good i find Lawler boring on his own at space now though.

I know what you mean Nath, last couple of years I felt like wanting to punch hin if he played Sweet Dreams and Blue Monday again :roll: We def caught him on good Sunday in June, one of the best sets of the year imo, I'll report back what he's like next wk ;)

I've actually never heard Lawler play Sweet Dreams !
It's always Morillo who plays that.

I saw two Steve Lawler sets a few weeks back on the Terrace and thought they were superb, quite tough in places.

Space terrace when we love sundays is on is very very special
so special in fact it made this grown man cry...

there were a group of bloke in front of me and at one point one of em looked at his watch and said "back home antique roadshow is just kicking off on the telly"

for me that says it all...
