Thursday: Got there about 11pm. Left our luggage at our appartment in PdB and headed over to Space to see what state the terrace was in. Finally saw the rubble for my own eyes. Went of to Tantra for a few drinks before going to bed.
Friday: Got up early ish and headed to Calla Comta. (We didnt go to Formentera because we were worried about having enough time, will go for the closings though Sil). Calla Comta was beautiful, thanks for the advice Bubble. Cristal clear blue water, quiet and with a gorgeous restaurant overlooking the sea. Headed over to San Antonio to catch the sunset where I met a couple of Stu's scottish mates. It was a bit hazy so the sunset wasnt very clear, but there was a great atmosphere around, and theres always something special about that place.
Back to PdB to catch the the last few beats of Bora Bora and to meet up with more friends that flew over. After a few Hierbas and not much convincing we headed over to El Divino. Much better night than we feared. Lots of space, and decent music. Not groundbreaking music, but still good enough to keep us on the dance floor till about 6.
Saturday: Got up around 3 pm, met up ith Stu and got the directions to the villa party. Headed over around 6. Thanks to Buckley for picking us up from Es Cubbels 8) Absolutely stunning place. As they say pictures say 1000 words, and everyones seen them. Also want to mentions Stu's and Marks set, perfect for the venue and for the time of day.
Getting back home was interesting. Cabs took an age to find the place, but thanks to the scots for keeping us occupied. (Including Stu falling into the pool fully clothed with his record bag + camera +phone at 4am)
Sunday: Made way to Space at 4 or so. Not much of a queue but nice to see a DJ playing outisde just in case there was. Walked in to notice the seating area was not there and there was an extra section added to the club. This was the new "temporary" terrace. Which is just as big as the old terrace and had as good an atmopshere. Not sure what they'll do there once the old one is finished. After a short break in the evening we got in at 11pm or so to catch Cox in the car park who was good, and then caught Tim in the Red Box, music was great, but it too hot for my liking, luckly the Premier Etage bit was very near by. Stayed on till 6.30am inside, and the man Cox still hadnt finished!!
Monday: Missed DC-10 as the queue was too big. Thankfully everyone seemd to go to Bora Bora. I was one of those that thought that one club doesnt make Ibiza, and that if Bora Bora shut, it wouldnt matter. I have to reconsider that now, Bora Bora was AMAZING on monday 8) 8) 8) . It absolutely p***ed all over Space on this occasion, IMO. I was there from 6 till 12 dancing non-stop, didnt want it to end. The crowd seemed more up for it than the previous nights. Some people went off to NDSM, but since we'd seen them the previous night we thought we'd try Demi's night at El Ayoun.
It didnt disapoint. The venue is stunning, decorated in a morrocan style, with fountains and arabic style arches everywhere. Demi and Massiello played funky/proggy type tunes, but all very uplifting and a really friendly crowd. Got back around 8 or so.
Tuesday: Started feeling depressed.. had a mexican with some friends.
Wednesday: My world ended
ps: Sorry to those spotlighters I missed and thanks to aALL those I saw for making it such a brilliant holiday, specially to Mr Copperband for being so hardcore
