Space-Good or Bad?

I went to ibiza in august 2006 and i have to say i had the best holiday of my life! The atmosphere was amazin and i have to say that i love proper clubbing not the west end which i think is a spanish blackpool!

Subliminal was the best night me and my 4 friends had. Eric morillo is by far the best party dj.
However a lot of people on spotlight seem to love Space. Me and a friend went there on a sunday night and found it to be nothing of what we expected! The music was terrible and what i would describe as drum & bass! I am a House and electro lover! We also thought it was to dark! Can anybody tell me if this is what it is like all the time or if it would be better to go in the daytime?

What time did you get there??

On a Sunday Space opens at 8am, the sunset terrace will kick off about lunchtime til midnight with the Space residents (expect lots of classics, happy music for happy people, nothing too groundbreaking but it works just oh so well), then the terrace which will open late afternoon/early evening where the big name guests tend to play - check who's playing which wk you go but could be anyone from the likes of Danny T, to Erick, to Guetta, to Sneak.............The terrace is open til 6am. Then also you've got inside, again music in there depends on who are the guests - recent people I've seen in there were Felix, Jeff Mills, 2ManyDJs............Inside is open til 6am too. Then you've also got the premier etage to chill on the roof and the Red Room which is a smaller room inside upstairs that is taken over by different promoters.

I'd give Space another go and get there early afternoon to see the sunset terrace warming up and at its best, then move to the new terrace and/or inside depending on who's playing and who your preferences are.

As one Spotlight member said 'Space is like West Ham innit, you can't not love it'

You said it! Nothing to add.. Space has so many faces, there's always something for everyone!

can I say Ace instead of just good! I absolutely love the place! Agree with Babs get there early have a few vodka limons in the sunshine... I love that part of the day before the madness later! You can always use your pass out once too if you need a change of scenery for a while!

im sure there was one dnb act this summer though?? cant remember now, not a fan of the scene. a lot of folk think the night time program is too hard, i cant imagine if you are a morillo fan you may think this way.

I've had good moments and bad moments in the place, but never down to the music policy. I love it!

Went to Space on a Sunday afternoon for the first time last year and it was amazing! Guetta did a special Terrace set and it was mental! Great place, especially with the planes flying overhead!
