SPACE Closing Party - When ?

Final Space Closing Party 2008

Any Ideas on the Date? Its not on the Party Calendar yet or the space website??

what?? i thought it was end of September, that would be two weeks? :?

oh wait, not talking abous space closing, but we love...

october 12 is a bit late isn't it??
 
I read that but i dont' know why they would have it so late :?

Are people going to fly out for just one party??

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for 5th October too. It's my 30th birthday that day :D

The 12th seems silly anyway as there'll be hardly any flights. I wish they would hurry up & announce it!
 
I would really like to know too! I was going to book my holiday for the 1st October in hope of hitting Monza, Matinee, Space and DC10(?????) closing parties.
If Space does close on the 12th October will WLS then close on the 5th???

Any ideas when decisions will be made as I want to book up ASAP?
 
'We Love' closing is the last Sunday in Sept....

Space closing is either Oct 5th, or Oct 12th if they extend the season

IMO both We Love and Space actual closings will both have MASSIVE lineups, total roadblocks etc, so it really doesn't matter that much which you attend (unless of course you want to be able to say it was THE closing party)

Of course booking your trip to coincide with a closing party thats unconfirmed to be happening (12th) could leave you with egg on your face....
 
that is exactly what i'm worried about! Obviously I can still go to Monza and Matinee closing but I dont know if it's worth paying £400 for a week holiday if its only those 2 nights that will be on when i'm out there!
 
IMO if you book to go last weekend in Sept, you can't go wrong

You'll get:
Matinee's penultimate party (Sep 27)
We Love closing (Sep 28)
The penultimate Circo Loco @ DC10 (Sep 29, prob better as less busy)
Monza closing (Oct 2nd)

agreed, this week will be brilliant.

but: circoloco that week will be as packed as the closing one.
and you forgot two of the most amazing closing parties in this week: cocoon closing and amnesia closing!

Uhhmmm....didn't the season just start???? And you people are already talking about the closing party??? Ugh. Where is this summer going!? :spank:

But i suppose ppl gotta plan ahead........

I have looked into this option but due to work etc I can only go for a week! I will end up being so miserable if I came back on the day of Space closing! although cocoon closing might make up for it!
