Space & Bora Bora POA

Hola troops, was wondering if anyone could give me advice on how best to go about spending our 1 and only Sunday in Ibiza this year!!! We're staying in San An for ten nights, so we'll mostly be staying local to save taxi fares etc, but we really want to try Bora Bora at some point, and we're defo going to WLS, should we try and do both on the same day? I.e, head to BOra Bora during the day, then go straight to Space? Or should we leave Bora Bora for another day? And also, what is the script with thw wristbands at space? What time do you have to be in so as you can get a wristband to let you in and out? Any help is appreciated :)
 
You can do both on the same day - they are only a few minutes walk from each other. In previous years, you could get a wristband which let you leave Space (provided you are in the club before 4pm) and then come back later. However, this year Space won't be opening until after 4pm so not sure whether they'll do the passout system still. If not, you could always head to Bora Bora for a few hours after 4pm then head to Space about 10 or so.

It wil be 4.30pm not 4pm 8) - possibly different on opening parties ONLY!!

I will be defo going to Bora Bora then Space on the same day and maybe go to Ibiza town before Hed Kandi the day after (Saturday)!!

Look out for free buses as well on some nights......
 
Cheers for that, guess we've got our sunday sorted now!! Only thing is, how much is a taxi to/from PLaya D'en Bossa from San An? I'd imagine we would want to go home for showers, eats etc, before hitting Space, or should we just dinghy it, down as many...cans of red bull as poss an turn up at space in our flip flops and surfer shorts??!!

It's about 30 euro from PDB to San An. I usually get a taxi from PDB to Ibiza town for a tenner then get the bus from Ibiza town to San An for 2 euro- much cheaper.
 
Will Bora Bora not be opening until 4:30 also? It will be my first time in Ibiza but from any pics and other mates that have been Bora would easy hold over 500 people yes?
 
Just in case anyone is confused ... Bora Bora will still be open ... it is a beach after all, but the beach bar that we all know and love just can´t play any music until 4:30. They will still be serving food and drink etc.

However, i bet that every Sunday the beach will still be busy in the afternoon as people enjoy a drink on the beach ... and i bet it goes crazy as soon as the music starts at Bora Bora !

Sunday is my favourite day at Bora Bora, purely because most people are heading to Space soon after and it makes for a really lively and upbeat atmosphere :)
 
I've heard differently. That Bora Bora will be open as normal with music from around the usual 2-3pm(at a decent volume anyway) as it has a restaurant license and not a cafe-conierto(however its spelt) license. 4:30pm isn't that bad anyway we shall see.8)
 
What time is the best to head into Space at? I guess this year will be different but usually?

Also do u get in wearing flip-flops? Just curious, not that i'll be trying.

Ah ok, i thought that bar actually wouldn't be able to open until 4:30 (because of the 500+ capacity) so therefore no drinking eating etc? that obviously cant stop everyone still going down the beach!!

Are the cops real harsh and on top of drinking your own booze down the beach or what?
 
As far as I'm aware its 100% legal to drink your own beer on the beach, even the ibiza authorities aren't that strict.

I used to hit Space between 7-9 in the evening as it´s usually going right off at that time. I love entering that club and seeing the dancefloor packed.

you can wear absolutely anything in Space, including flip-flops. I did this many times last year as i was at the beach prior ... but i seriously recommend you don´t wear flip-flops because you WILL get your feet trampled on lol.
 
Oh yeah, and you can get those big bottles of San Miguel really cheaply at the shop over the road from Bossa Mar. It's close enough for frequent visits. Cold Spanish lager, yum!
