space on sundays, but did they use the funktion one system on other days?

Eden is also very good.

Hopefully space will buy their own Funktion one system this year (last years was rented by we love...) for inside and out. Crossing fingers that they buy the worlds second installation of Dance stack ultras (first ever is at ice in vegas) as its the best sounding system in the world after shorty's at Stereo Montreal 8)

surely all the big clubs in Ibiza make enough to afford this? how much is the funktion one system worth?
 
Tribal Gathering used the Funktion One system the last warehouse party, quality.

What about the Phazon system? Is that not meant to be the best in the world? The one that was at Twilo?

I don't like the Eden system, the mid and highs are too loud, really hurts my ears. Space is the best, thumping bass.

Last July spent four hours in Space trying to discern whether Sneak was scratching his bllcks or the mixing vinyl, Lawler's sound was marginally better cos he knows how to tweak his knobs.

Then it was over to El Divino for Jay J and Defected - what a contrast, clarity, power, prescision of sound. NO contest!

Every funktion one system isnt the same, theres loads of different options.

I'm sure all the clubs could afford dance stack ultra set ups (which after EAWs avalon range is the second major sound system manufacturer to make a system specifically for nightclubs, funktion ones first ever big contract was for the millenium dome!) but are too tight/greedy to do so.

Phazon dont and have never made loudspeakers - they make systems using other manufacturers components. Twilos was supposed to be amazing but is now in another club and aparantly dosnt sound as good. Shorty was the guy responsible for Phazons systems, he no longer works for Phazon and runs a company called Sound by Shorty. He has for the last year or so had a UNLIMITED budget to make the worlrds best sound system at Stereo. He's used mainly EAW speakers (same company who manufactured MInistry of SOunds main system many years ago).

Funktion one is the favourite choice of most big DJs now and is becoming more and more popular. Especially because a system can be rented and installed very quickly and effectively (e.g. Space, Homelands, Tribal Warehouse/Weekender)
 
I think Sankeys has a Phazon system too.

And I forgot about El Divino, that has an excellent sound system. Very bassy and very high clarity.
 
I thought El divino's was rubbish!

When hed kandi had danni minouge on didnt they bring in extra system/speakers? It was much better than normal that night.

Sankeys is the old phazon from Home/London.

JBL Speakers have produced amazing results (IMO) when on a phazon system :P
 
I think you mean JBL Pro ;) :lol: :P

They use a whole load of dirfferent manufactuers i guess and pick the best from each :?

thats less than i'd have thought considering it used to be at Home. The F-1 Dance Stack Ultra system a Ice is 120K 8O I think they also used EAW VHF tweeters (same as at mos) too flown over the dancefloor but havent publicised that as the whole res of the club was F-1 and they publicised that a lot, lol.
