anyone on this?

i have downloaded it but dont have a clue how to use it

thick git that i am :D

2 used to kazaa

anyway im looking for some carl cox stuff, really hard to get decent stuff on kazaa
 
only just started to use it a couple of nights ago, finding it quite easy to search and download - quite similar to kazaa...

but i got so fed up of the pop ups and $hit that come with kazaa!
 
Soulseek pisses all over Kazaa. Infact, I've taken Kazaa Lite off my computer as I was getting far too many viruses and it became only good for commercial stuff which isn't really my thing.

With Soulseek, it's fairly self explainitary. But ettiquete is required. Make sure you're not downloading off people and not letting anyone download your files, that's just rude. If I'm downloading a lot off someone, I'll always send them a message beforehand just to be polite.

Soulseek is especially good for mixes and full albums, rather than having to download track by track, thus making it brilliant for mix compilations.
 
do i have to have my files in a certain folder for people to be able to upload off me like kazaa shared folder or something?
 
Kazaa lite was quality. RIAA all over it now so update ur ipblocker regularly.

Soulseek is still good. takes a while (single source downloading) but good.

I dont. Didnt know there was one available for soulseek to tell u the truth

im a big fan of soulseek,..ive tried all the usuall downloading programmes,... emaule,..kazza,..kazza lite,...grockster etc etc and soulseek comes top :)

my user name is makka,... add me if u wish and approach :P

i have all 12" versions as i mp3 mix,...funky house/progressive,..techno

(1) = funky house
(2) = prog/chunky house
(3) = techno/ harder sounds

I have a special folder for uploads which you can select on the options page along the top bar.
