Gotta agree with your view on Tech/Electro mate. This aint "House" music at all, and I wish theyd stop trying to sell it to us by putting the "House" tag after it. Btw, trying to DL your mix but that hosting site is sloooow. Only getting 10kbps

Yeah it wasn't one of my better mixes was quite intoxicated doing it actually good track selection though,cheers mate

Hi, not wishing to pour cold water on your mix but can someone explain to me what the point of that ATFC track is? I just had a listen on youtube and he's basically ripped Lil Louis and just regurgitated a classic record in a cheap commercial stylee. If that's what defected is reduced to these days then it is well and trully fcked. cynicism 10/10 creativity 0/10

Alot of people Olly (the younger generation esp) wont have heard or appreciated the original, and yes I agree to some degree about the newer versions not being as good as the originals. But they do have a place in the market imo, they let the young'uns hear the song, then give them a chance to compare. For example alot of people wont know that Lil Louis made the original, they do now.

That remix by ATFC was actually quite a big hit in the clubs and Ibiza back end of last summer.

As an oldkooler myself I agree you for the most part although the ATFC isn't a bad track as regards sampling Lil Louis goes (im usually very skeptical, that Deadmou5 is the worst he has absolutely butchered a few old skool classics).
