I have dined there before and did not need to reserve a table however it was quite early on in the evening.
The food is nice and it is a lovely setting.

Book ahead
I go to Bambuddha Grove every year and always book ahead in order to guarantee a table. The first year i was a bit apprehensive about phoning but as most people speak english on the island there is no problem. If you want to visit a resturaunt on the island then look up their website, get the number and then give them a call. Nothing worse than turning up to find they are fully booked.
