Hi all! I've booked a room at Hotel Bellamar for the 5th thru 14th of September, 2004. It's my first time to Ibiza, and unfortunately, none of my friends here in Oregon have even heard of the place.....so, after 2 years of trying to round up a posse, I'm heading over on my own! If you'll be around, lemme know....

Hey Heidi,

I haven't booked yet, but i should be heading over either late August or early september on my own. Would be cool to meet-up. I'll keep you posted.

most excellent, vinylgroover! I look forward to meeting you if you're around. I really can't wait to get there....4 months seems like an eternity!

Whereabouts in Australia did you grow up...always been in Sydney? I was there in the 80's after high school for a couple months....in Kingscliff on the Gold Coast and then another little town in the middle of nowhere for a couple weeks until my host family sent me back to Kingscliff because I hated it so much on the farm...

Thanks for the info, MyVenture! Several people I know are addicted to E! TV (sometimes I get that way, too), so it shouldn't be too difficult getting them to tune in....

the video's awesome! and happily, I have a couple of the songs in it on CD, so I don't feel so terribly isolated from it all :)

there are 2 people who have told me if I have fun this year, they'll come next time....pretty sure they'll be there next year with me :!: :!: :!:

yep, sydneysider..........best city on the planet.

Gold coast is cool too............great weather year round, great beaches and great bodies, lol.

You'll have fun for sure...........Americans know how to party from my experience.

Sydney is a beautiful city indeed! I spent three days there (so of course I'm an expert  ) right before I left the country....I loved my whole trip in Australia...I was 18, so not old enough to drink in the US. My very first legitimate evening out in clubs was in Australia :D When the waitress asked what I wanted to drink, I had no clue what to ask for because all I had ever had was stuff we'd stolen from various people's parents!!! It was rather embarrassing. I ordered a G&T, but shortly after fell in love with West Coast Coolers (again, I was quite young!)

lol@west coast coolers.

Damn that is a long time ago, i think i was 14 or 15 when they came out.

They were the original pre-mixed drinks for women............it was citrus juice and white wine from memory.
