Hey all,
I have wanted to come to Ibiza for years now and after trying to figure out who to take with me, I decided I'll probably have a better time going alone since none of my friends are huge clubbers or partiers... that way I can go where I want and do what I please and not have to worry about anyone else's good time  I would appreciate some pointers as to a cheap hotel to stay since I have no one to split costs with, and to know the best time of year to go... at this point I'm looking at mid to late July. Also- I can't afford to stay a whole week even :?, so I'm coming in on probably a Wednesday or Thursday night and flying out the following Monday... so I need to jam as much fun in as a I can while I'm there, so it can't be at an off-peak time of year. Thanks- and see you all there!! :D:D

Stay at Garbi in Playa Den Bossa. Its cheap large but good. Is next to Bora Bora Beach Handy for old town (Pacha El Divino) which is best Space, Love, etc.

Serious advice:

Sort a timetable for a short trip and dont over do it (like I did in September) use the calendar on here

Musts:

Manumission
Hed Kandi at El Divino
Good restaurants in Old Town & KM5 or Bambudda Grove- you'll find people to go with

Bora Bora and

at least one sunset at
Cafe Del Mar Strip

Do someting wicked and out of character when no ones looking, you may never get the chance again (hmm!!)

I could wax lyrical for about a week!!!

Im off in July (fingers crossed) 1st or 2nd week

Get a few numbers from here and hook up its a great catayst and Ive always found good company always been relaxed and fun. Ibiza is all about atmosphere. No one minds if you drift off in your own direction.

Hey there!

Without a doubt go in August. Yes it's expensive yes it's busy yes it's EXTRAORDINARILY hot lol but if you want the full ibiza experience go in August.

I went on my own for 10 days in August last year (everyone else was skint so only I could afford it lol) but it was my second visit so I knew where to go what to do etc.

Try not to make too many plans because once you get there they go out the window. Sometimes you find out about special nights that you hadn't heard about on here so just decide to go to them or whatever.

So just go for it :D :!: . Go, take as much as you can afford, hit the clubs and catch a couple of sunsets.

Really, you won't regret it - I didn't. Going back twice this summer once again SEE YOU ALL THERE!!! :spank:

Hey Heather, Let me say you are going to have a wild and fun time:) . I waited 4yrs to get to Ibiza and eventually couldn't wait for my friends so went it alone (ended up meeting friends there anyway) Yes it was a long 27hr flight from Australia and yes it cost nearly $4000 in airfare's:cry: but I will and am doing it again this year. I agree with Tripehound and believe Hotel Garbi in PDB is the best place to stay. So close to everything and right on the beach. Great pool area. Close to Bora Bora but not to close so you can still sleep in you feel the need. I however believe Sept is the best time to go. I will be going from 1st to 15th (just booked tickets yippie). Catch all the Mega closing parties, crowds are still big but not over the top like August. Easier and quicker to get food and drinks at restaurants, and still bloody hot8) . Cant wait.. Yes have to get to Cafe del mar and Cafe Mambe to watch a sunset or two. Beautiful8O . Also great quiet beaches without many tourists once you jump on a scooter for the day. Im getting all excited about it now. hehe. :p Anyway. take MBourner's advice and dont book anything past 2days (except accomodation) because once you get there you will meet people hear about parties and plans change from day to day. If you decide to go in Sept PM me and I might be able to help you with cheap accomodation at Hotel Garbi. Take care and have a good time, PKL:twisted:

Agreed 8) Bora Bora is a must for me this year!!

I too am going to go to Ibiza by myself but in June....I am sure that we both will figure it out by day 2!!! I am certainly looking forward to it..

hallo,
I'm in the same situation. I've never been on Ibiza but i want to partying and see some my favourite DJs(Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten) and enjoy beautiful Cafe del Mar but my friends don't like it so I decided that i'm going alone to Ibiza from 20-27.July. I know it's a bit boring but ...

Hope to see some of you there

Hows it going? Im also making my first time out to Ibiza as well, Im going to be there July 8-19th, I was just going to say, since my friends ditched due to being in debt bad from our last voyage, I now have a 3 person apartment that Im staying at and already paid for it. If you need a place to stay Im always down to help out. Ive had this happen twice and both time I helped people that dont have the funds, Im staying at CLUB PARAISO, I dont need any money from anyone that wants the extra beds. I just want to have a crazy time, if anyone else is having the same problem just hit me up.
