Solo In Ibiza from 25/7.....!!!

I have decided to go to Ibiza a little earlier than my mates.. Now I'm worried if its the type of place people are open to meeting new people? I did more of a backpacker route in thailand last year solo and loved it, meeting loads of interesting people, I'm hoping lack of hostals in Ibiza won't mean people are totally closed minded to talking to new people.. I don't want to end up completely fed up waiting for my home mates to arrive!! Any tips would be welcomed.. X
