I stayed in the sol bay back in 1999. they are way down the bottom of the bay not far from the hotel milord, its a basic hotel which fronts the main road and a lot of the apartments are above restaurants and bars. the down side is that there was no air con then and they were very noisey particularly in peak season. There;s a nice cheap bar/restaurant attached to it called the queen vic which serves low cost meals.
On the upside, its right next to a bus stop, good selection of bars and restaurants around it, its only a hundred yards or so from the beach and the rooms on the high floor have great veiws
