if you have been 3 times .by now you should know the best places to go to ect,not getting on to you,but you must get out.off the beach and travel a bit,its so small but nice to see other places,

hi,yes i have been before, but not without the kids, and only to the east of the island,so i would appreciate advice, the get off your ass and look comment kind of defeats the object of the forum imo:cry:   . mo

The Marina in Sta Eulalia has plenty of decent eateries, Skuma being one of my favourites plus ten minutes out of Sta Eulalia is my all time favourite Es Caliu and in Cala Llonga there is Zebra which is good value and great food. Es Cana is not great for restaurants but Bar 2TT does a good chicken fillet if you want cheap and cheerful. So car or taxi gets you to all in about 15 minutes from Es Cana. Photos of most of the bars, and restaurants I have found are on my website.

thanks tony,as it happens ive visited the cala nova website a few times, because we have booked to go there october half term, cant wait, taking the kids and grandad. walked past skuma a few times and thought it looked nice, the problem is so much choice,to little time:) :).thanks for allyour suggestions. mo.

Hope the weather is good for you in October Mo - it can be brilliant or "mixed".
Whatever, mention my name to the head barman Gonzalo and ask to join him in a "bloody hell" - my description and say hello to the animacion, Paco & Fay.
I'm sure you will all have a great time.
