sol pinet playa - anyone stayed there?

Hiya!

Going to Ibiza 4 the first time at the end of June? Does anyone know if its nice at the Sol Pinet Playa in San Ant bay?? Is it easy enough to get to San Ant town (and back!) from there?

Also - the best flight price i've found is with Jet2.com from Leeds at £260 return (Thurs - Mon), I'm in Manchester - has anyone seen better??

you can get a water taxi right in front of the hotel (beach)or you can get the bus from the back (road)of the hotel

try the kiosko on the other side of the road from the hotel, it's fab.
 
I stayed at the Sol Pinet Playa back in 2001 and I enjoyed it. It's right on the beach so that's a plus and I thought the rooms were more than adequate. It's a nice family oriented hotel but it isn't too far from the action. It's a bit of a hike to San Antonio, but I enjoyed the walk and did it almost every day. I definately recommend it. I would have stayed there again this year if it wasn't so pricey.
 
never stayed there but stayed in private apartments next door. Looks nice, in nice location however would take a while to walk it, as said before bus, taxi or water taxi is ur best option to get to the town. or wonder along the bay go to the bars round there then get taxi over to the otherside lol! ohhh and if ur awake its funny watching the aqua areobics in the pool!!!!!!!!

you could try thomsonfly, the pinet playa is a nice hotel right on the beach, and even better only 5 min walk from the pink panther:lol:
 
pdb vs san ant bay??

Thanks very much 4 all your help, much appreciated. change of plan now tho..... thinking of staying in pdb instead, is this a good idea?? Anyone know of a nice hotel there? Looking for 3*+ somewhere near to the action but quiet enough for daytime recovery. All the hotels on this site seem to be min. 7 nights stay and I've only got 4!
