Fire? How bad was it? Anyone know?
 
Cheers. Couldnt see anything when i searched google but think its cause it must be set to english results only.
 
Wow tragic, all down to a laundry dryer as well. Such a great hotel and devastating at this time of year, I have family arriving at a hotel just couple of hundred yards from here tomorrow so will let them know in case they are affected.:(
 
I managed to get booked into the Costa Mar nearby instead. Shame for the owners and anyone caught up in the evacuation or arriving to a burnt out hotel.

Imagine coming back from a heavy night out clubbing to find your hotel on fire o_O

Stayed there last 2 years, brilliant place and very welcoming family. Hope they get it sorted. Was gonna book up there again for Sept this year but opted for bay this time round.
 
Really sad news. One of my favourite places to stay. I hope they manage to get up and running again soon.
 
Sad when I saw this on JU facebook page, we've stayed there 5 times in last ten years, and it will always hold great memories.... Hope Bart and everyone is ok and they are back up and running soon :(
 
Real shame. Had a walk past there today on way back from beach :(

Seems it's the rooms in the middle at the blind (far) side that are all burnt out and it's spread to the front.

Hope they get things fixed soon.
 
Not exactly up to date I know; but they hadn't touched it by late October last year.
Smoke damage still in evidence....insurance problem?
 
Such a shame. Always really enjoyed staying & I was looking to book for June but not available.
Hope they get things sorted.
