Social / Friendly Hostel?

I'm looking to travel alone for the first time and have chosen Ibiza as my destination.

Could the vets here recommend me a good hostel that has a friendly/social crowd? Is it fairly easy to join a group to head out for the night together? I'm fairly outgoing myself but am still a bit worried about travellingalone/getting bored. Not much of a budget, but just looking for a great time!

I've stayed in the Tarba before - it was really nice and secure, couldn't say about joining a crowd as I wasn't there on my own. It's just behind the bus station in San An though, so really central!
 
Ibiza is a very friendly place. Take a walk along to Itaca during the day and you will always get chatting to someone.

Yes, cheap deals and cheaper during the day. 5 euros for two pints and various other offers. Upstairs can also be good at night.

When you say hostel, do you mean?
Hostel as in very very cheap low cost accomodation where you all wash your face in the same sink?
or
Small spanish hotel?
 
If are looking cheap accomodation then a cheaper hotel might be your answer? more people knocking about to talk to.
Some of the hostals are fantastic but some atract a crowd that you may not wish to spend time with.
Anyway -
Hostal Valencia - San An
Gran Sol - San An
Both 10 mins from bus station.

Appts Llevant - Figueretas
Cheap and very basic but has Es vive opposite, sneak in and use the pool area;)

Algarb or mare nostrum - pdb
Close to space, sankeys, bora bora...........
Savings to be had in travel costs and they have AI options.

Airbnb?

Or, chill about your accomodation and arrange to meet people off this forum.
 
Hostal Valencia is really nice. Stayed there a few times but its always been really quiet so might not be the best place to meet people.
Friends have stayed at the Florencio. The pool & bar were always lively.
