Well, not really 
However, I am in a bit of a pickle. I intended to come out for almost the full season (late May-late October) but had to go back to merry old' for most of June, due to a niggling legal issue, and I thus missed the window of opportunity to get seasonal work here. So throughout July and now August (sigh) I've been bleeding money... accomm, food and drink adds up at a surprising rate when there's no incoming money.
My plans were further scuppered when I had a bit of a disagreement with the friend who was supposed to come out with me in late June, and blag some work with me. We fell out the week we were due to come out; he booked his flight out regardless on the one day I couldn't come, went to San An, and met other friends of his he knew, and he found work there. I came out and went to the quiet side of the island where I know people, but beyond doing the odd shift here and there filling in at a bar/restaurant, there's nothing in the way of work. It seems everywhere outside of San An, PDB and Ibiza Town is in survival mode this year.
I'd love to find something in Playa d'en Bossa, or even San An if need be. I need to go back briefly on August 23rd (again, legal issue), and with no work or accomm out here, I'm finding it hard to justify the expenditure of coming back just to keep dossing around. And I don't want to go back to England, for reasons that really are self-pitying woe-is-me bull****
So in short, I need a reason to come back out and keep blowing what little I have left. Going back on Aug 23rd will literally kill me, after utterly failing out here and going back to a shambles of a life I was trying very hard to leave behind (yeah yeah, cue violins) but at £200 peak time flights and then accommodation, cost of living etc, I need something to actually come back out to.
Is it too late to get anything in PDB? Anyone know a man who knows a man? Or is typing this tale of misery a waste of all our time?
