Haveing read a few bits and bobs on this subject, just wonderd how busy the island was compared to last two or three so far?,ill be out at the end of the month!
So whats the General feeling so far

Cool not a bad thing really,walking about in day time last year seemed quiet in pdb and san ann,thats not always reflected in clubland it seems as nights can be rammed or steady for different reasons i feel,lets see how it plays out.

I have never seen flights so expensive in early June apart from the old 'opening weekend' of course. Absolutely crazy about 2-3 times more than in previous years for budget airlines and BA were charging 900 Euros each way from London Gatwick by last week - you could have easily got a flight to LA, South America or the Caribbean for that (I checked !). It has completely reversed now that Sonar stuff is underway. I think maybe a lot of clubbers use BA/Easyjet/Ryanair etc rather than package holiday airlines especially for shorter trips and the demand has far exceeded the supply so the price of flights is a very good indicator of how the season is panning out as far as UK visitors are concerned. But even the "package tour" flights with Thomson/Thomas Cook were double what they were last year - and with very few seats left or even fully booked.

Even I was shocked just how many flights British Airways now have this year! From end June there are 30 flights a week from London to Ibiza. The 16 from City probably highlights the massive growth in the second home and high-end part of the market. As you literally only have to rock up 15 minutes before a flight, you can leave your desk at 2PM and pretty much be in a beach bar 3.5 hours later (desk to beach)! Not bad!
