So What's Gonna Be the Big Anthems for Ibiza Summer 2004?

Anyone got any ideas? Predictions?

Heard the new George Michael track "Amazing" the other day on the radio (even though it ain't out till March), and it sounds taylor made for the Ibiza market so I reckon that that's gonna be fairly big. Any others???
 
Oh, and a quick question....

Can anyone tell me the proper title and artist of a massive Ibiza anthem from either last year or the year before. It was quite a mellowish track and had the words "21st Century" in the chorus all the time.

Blatant plug, but Rhythmique, by, er, me, is gonna be big on the Terrace this year, notably cos it's Steve Lawler's label that it's coming out on !

Weekend Players - 21st Century. It's about three years old I think. Nice tune though

methinks your dj sets would be right up my street Stu - you'll need to stop playing places like Outside In :lol:

u should ask Mr. Lawler for the "Marc Cohen" warm up slot for Harlem Nights Glasgow! (if colours ever confirm it)

Luckily i've only ever played house at Inside Out !


And changes are planned for Harlem Nights, I can't say too much more, but keep your eyes peeled to DJ Magazine over the next few issues !
 
we´ll have to wait until MIDEM in Cannes finishes (they dont do a lot of dance tho), but more important: Miami Music Conference. We´ll probably know around April - May depending on how good the season is, and jugding from the amount of releases in the electronic genres, there will probably be a few larger hits from my country as well again - like RUNE RK and MORJAC from last year **beaming with pride** - let´s see!

On the subject of Weekend Players - 21st Century, what genre would that song fall under? i.e House, Garage, Hip-Hop, Trance? (Even I know it ain't trance). I just wanna know what to look for when I see adverts for certain kinds of music.

thats a really hard one to determine! I wouldnt know, its not really house, its not really chillout, not lounge either? maybe?? i dunno......
