was talking to a friend of mine..
and he reckons everything is VERY expensive..
like water in a convenient store is like 5dollars!that goes for cans of coke too..
the cheapest street food is 10euros you cant get meals for under that!
all the bars, pre bars, or just local bars off the beaches etc.. cant get a drink for under 6 euro? even mac donalds burger sets run for 10 euro!

and also on the island there are prices for spanards and prices for foreigners? so when you walk into a store if you are a foeigner you pay this for water, but if you are local or spanish you pay that water!

now this just sounds like someone has told my friend all this garbage and he believes it!

so is this true people?
are prices in bakerys or just stores for water or a bag of chips gonna cost 5euro? 10 euro is the cheapest meal???

Your friend is very wrong i'm afriad.

Water and coke from supermarkets is very chea very cheap.

In fact non clubber type places, i.e. bars, restaurants are very affordable.

Ibiza's prices are like the ones in your average city/country in europe. Very reasonable prices.

The only thing that is expensive is anything that is associated with clubbing there.

And prices are the same for tourists and locals in Ibiza. That's why god invented price labels/tags on the product itself ;)

food and drink is generally cheaper than what you would pay at home, infact its about half the price of a meal at home, its not expensive at all!

its certainly true that the majority of bars are expensive, as mentioned the clubber/trendy orientated places. everything else is cheap, you can pick up a litre of vodka for 5 euros in the supermarkets. 5 litre bottles of water for 3 euros.
