So excited - but now worried....help!

We're flying out a week today - so excited!! Been desperate to hit ibiza for years!!!

Thought I'd check our gaff for the weeks reviews, and they aint good! has anyone stayed at Casita Blanca recently? I dont care about getting woken up and stupid stuff like that - you dont go to Ibiza to sleep lol. Its just the stuff about people breaking into rooms n stuff? I read it all at this site.......

any advice would be great!!!

anyone else going on the 27th??

dont take expensive items with you.Keep mobile phones ,cameras, credit cards with you.Make sure you have insurance.Good luck im sure you will be fine

seems to me you should check out the place before you book.forget the agent pushing you into booking any place thats cheap.ok you may be on a budget.but for a few pounds more you could get a better place to stay.crime is everywhere you go.but a few places are very poor indeed.hotels are much better.not putting down all s.c places.i have stayed in a few really nice s/c places./some even better that hotels....you pay for what you get...no fans or air con?

best bet is for you to look round resorts.and check out places for another time.or just ask way before you go or book a hols..if its any help you could of picked worst places than you have..i mean really bad

let us all know how you got on...

18 30s i see .you will grow out of it i tell you.don;t waste your money on silly trips they do.

central city for one and pisics park is the other one i would not stay in.mine you most off the 18 30 places need knocking down.not even fit for rats.ok for some but not for me now.i have stayed is these places many years ago on a cheapo.fine for some.=(just like home),but not for me now.ok i was 18/19 ect and had a good time.but the older you get the wiser you are.central park was fine one of the best i would say .out of season oct.

you learn the more you go.

Thanks guys!

Not sure if I can change hotel this late, will try printing our all the reviews and taking to my travel agent. see what her chat is!

We didnt even think, we just told her the dates we could go and 18-30 was the cheapest option.........guessing we're learning our lesson before we're even there!

Can you trust the safes in these rooms? Or should we def just not take any cameras etc?

Im still excited tho!!!!!!!!

6 days to go!!!

well it up to you if you take your camera.safe should be ok.but if not it means carry it around with all the time...mine you thats what its for.you will be ok.don;t worry to much.go with the flow.eat/drink/sleep/dance/ be merry enjoy it.

listen to what your parents have to say.and then forget it all.just one thing don;t come back with a baby?....

This one sounds a bit sh1t :)

''I have just returned from a week from hell at the Casita Blanca apartments. Firstly the reps just dropped us off at the end of a random road and told us "its just up there you'll find it no problem" then we had to pay 30 euros upon arrival incase we damaged the room.

The next day the rep came to see us and she was so pushy trying to get us to sign up to all the different excursions. We eventually agreed( just to get her out our room!) to go to Trinity which we were told had bar where drinks were only 1 euro( instead of the you'll pay in the bars) for 3 hours. The ticket cost us 50 euros and we got dragged to 2 different bars before we walked the 20 min walk to Kanya. We waited for 90mins at the bar and still didnt have a drink in our hand plus tim westwood was DJing so we left. It was a complete waste of money and we were completly mislead by our extremley unhelpful rep.

Several apartments got broken into and money and jewllery was stolen and the aparment below us woke up and found 2 spanish men in their room robbing them and end up getting beaten up. Again the reps were notified and nothing was done about it. Our door looked as if it had been broken into several times before.

The bar played the same Cascada cd all day every day and as it was cloudy and raining for most of or holiday we were stuck in the apartment being subjected to this horror!!!

If you are even thinking of sleeping then get yourself a lilo as the beds are awful its like a bit of foam and a lilo will be much more comfortable!!!

We were thrown out our room at 11am when we were under the impression we were to leave by 12. Our flight wasnt untill the sunday morning. We had to put our suitcases in this ramshackle cupboard which we were told would be look..it wasn. The door to this cupboard fell off and landed on a girl's toe taking most of her toe with it. The guy on reception said "oh dear thats a shame" told us it would be 150 euros fo a taxi and went back to reading his paper. The rep eventually turned up and said she couldn't give her any pills and then just went back to her room and we were left to clear up this girl's poor toe and try and get her some help.

All in all it is the worst place i have ever stayed and if you are thinking of going or have booked to go the please dont. I dont know what was worse the apartments or the reps. I am making a formal complaint to club 18-30 about the reps as they were only interested in getting your money and looking down at you if you didnt do the excursions. If you are going dont sign up for anything cos everyone that went said it was the biggest waste of money and they hated every minute of it!!''

150 euros for a taxi? Where to Barcelona? :)

there you go i rest my case on 18/30s and even 20s places.i have noticed over the many years i have been going.that a lot of people now are booking hotels.just to stay away from the 18.30 crowd...you don;t need them to have a good time.alright there will be lots of people going on the trips they do.but most you can d.i.y.

at least in a hotel you are getting fed/clean rooms/air con/better things in hotel if it rains ect.not just a bar.....well worth paying a bit more for the comforts of home....

could the Casita Blanca apartments be the worst place in ibiza this year.would love to hear more news on where people have stayed and what it was like,

The Casita could well be in the running for the worst hotel. Let's be informed of where to avoid so we don't waste our hard earned cash. Anywhere else in Ibiza that should be avoided?

oh no!

Lets not trush in with saying my home next week is the worst hotel in Ibiza just yet lol, I'll get back to you!!

Fingers crossed.....thanks for the help guys

ach well, if its that bad it'll just give me an excuse not to sleep!!
