smoking!

Hi all
its been about 4years since i last went to Ibiza, so can't wait to go back this year!
just wondered how things have changed with the smoking laws? can you smoke in bars/clubs/streets....?
let us know!

It's mandatory to smoke in all bars, clubs, restaurants and of course the street. There are heavy fines for anybody found to be carrying less than ten cigarettes on their person and driving a car without a cigarette in one hand is now a capital offence.

just carry on as normal..thats what he means...do what you like..just one place really thats its total ban...airport inside.and inside hotels areas.apart from your room.

If a restaurant is greater tham 100 sq meters in area then it has to have a non smoking area. If the restaurant is smaller then it is the choice of the owner to be either smoking or a non-smoking. I only know of one in this area that is non-smoking and they lose a lot of business beacause of it.

i know daffers on rest st and vicentes burger bar here you cant smoke inside - but daffers have tables outside and vicentes has a covered outside

yeah dont smoke in the airport! if you are in the boarding area and want a cig, yes you can go out to have one but must have your tickect with you to come back and do the queue again! yes, i do work in the airport during the summer and people keep asking me the same question!

you can smoke in the pink panther bar in san antonio bay.. we had big new extractors put it in last year, you can happily have sex on the beach with a cig. (cocktail of course)
