heading out to ibiza this summer cant wait as i have never been before goin to be the highlight of the summer. i was wondering how much the smokes are over there per two hundred just to off set the cost also whats the quota on how many i would be aloud to bring back to the uk. thanks in advance.

Cheapest duty in Europe, circa 30e, you can bring as many as you like back!
 
i'm afraid that that's not quite correct. spain is part of the eu so you are allowed to bring as much as you want for personal consumption. hm customs and excise consider the following amounts 'reasonable'

  • 3200 cigarettes
  • 400 cigarillos
  • 200 cigars
  • 3 kg of smoking tobacco
  • 110 litres of beer
  • 10 litres of spirits
  • 90 litres of wine
  • 20 litres of fortified wine (such as port or sherry)
as for smoking in public places in ibiza the balearics were the first to place bans on smoking a few years ago but the system is so complicated that it's difficult to know where you can and can't light up.
